你 好! Learning a new language builds confidence and stimulates brain growth in children.  Mandarin is spoken by more than 1 billion people, making it the most widely spoken language in the world.  It is the official language of China, Taiwan, and is one of the official languages of Singapore and the United Nations.  Mandarin has become an important language to learn with the rise of China as a major economic force in the world. Learning the world’s most widely spoken language will open up exciting new opportunities for business, travel, and cultural enrichment.  Mandarin will allow you to communicate with almost anyone in China, Taiwan, people in many parts of Asia, and around the world.

We make learning Chinese fun and exciting by using a variety of learning materials and activities.  And we will tailor this program to fit the learning style of each student and keep track of his or her progress.  We've chosen various learning materials from several different top rated books.  As well as our own teaching materials that Dr. Lian-Sheng Zhang, PhD 张莲生 博士 & Mrs. Jennie Louie 雷老师 created together for our students to use during our class.

Our program not only includes learning spoken and written Chinese, but also learning Chinese culture. New materials will be introduced in each session.  Our students will learn Mandarin through popular children's Chinese textbooks, worksheets, and flashcards. They will also be practicing written Chinese, reading Chinese children's poems and rhymes, singing popular children's songs, playing games and many more fun activities while learning Mandarin.

This class is for both the new beginner students as well as more advanced students. Traditional Form of Chinese writing material is available upon request.
